Originally, I come from photography, particularly iris photography, in which I established my own genre as a pioneer.

Back then, I was out at markets and faced with improvised processes: Excel spreadsheets, makeshift sales systems, and unreliable internet connections.

Almost nine years ago, with Odoo version 10, my journey began – with the aim of streamlining and optimising my processes.

Odoo impressed me with its integrated solution, even though the initial costs and complexity were initially challenging.

Over time, my company grew into the system, expanded internationally, and developed into a franchise system, supported by the flexibility and scalability of Odoo.

I deepened my enthusiasm for processes and automation.

A lot of time was spent on complex, sometimes overly ambitious automations – but it was precisely these experiments that provided me with valuable insights.

As a self-taught individual, I learned to write my own modules to get exactly what our partners really needed from the system.

At the same time, I developed retouching scripts in Photoshop using JavaScript, which provided me with additional insights into programming and automation.

In early 2025, I developed a new, fully customised Odoo system based on this for the sale of personalised Iris photo products – from the checkout to production.

After many years as an entrepreneur and developer in my own company, I have realised that my greatest passion lies not just in the product itself – but in the underlying processes: in structuring, improving, and automating processes.

The iris photography that I once founded has now become a widespread trend – which is nice to see on one hand, but has increasingly positioned us as pioneers in a crowded market.

At the same time, it has become clear to me how much knowledge and experience has accumulated from this intensive development period: technical, strategic, and above all, process-oriented know-how.

Today, I use this very knowledge to help other companies: as an Odoo consultant with a holistic perspective. I analyse processes, identify gaps, bring structure, and develop functioning, scalable solutions from complex ideas – from conception to technical implementation.

What began with improvised market stalls has developed into a holistic consulting competence:
